Abstract:
The article examined a mathematical model to work as a regulator of excitation of synchronous generators from mini hydro power stations (SHPP). It is provided an opportunity for a full examination of all possible modes of synchronous generators by a power plant. Analysis of captured typical working and emergency procedures and results of their simulations with the model shows good enough matches (> 90%). Results of additional studies indicate unsustainable distribution of reactive loads in the traditional principles of regulation. Actually require a change in the method of the regulation.
