The switching of semiconductor devices is the main source of electromagnetic interference (EMI) in power static converters. Fast power devices generate high levels of electromagnetic emissions in the form of high-frequency currents. These high-frequency disturbances travel and spread over the power cables. To study the influence of high-frequency energies on the power cable a precise models of the power cables with different length are made, when the frequency increases. The models are simulated and validated in the frequency and time domains.
