Abstract:
An approach for extraction the model parameters of planar transformers is proposed in the paper. The extraction is realized via the S-parameters of the corresponding models using optimization, based on Genetic Algorithm. The approach is useful in RF model design, as the S-parameters can be easily measured for a given microelectronic technology.
