Description:
Teo, future maker for children explores the life of an educator who is passionate about changing the reality of Bulgarian education and the attitude towards youth for the better.Teodor Vasilev is an educator and a specialist in working with children and youth, innovative methods of informal learning and a founder of Community Center “Future now” in Rhodope Mountains. He is teaching informal learning in Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and has developed a system of courses and Erasmus + projects for both children and teachers. The main message that the film will communicate would be that to understand children, one must leave all of their preconceptions and emotional baggage outside and really try to get into the mind of children. How do you do that? By loving the children. If you love them and believe in them and you spend enough time with them, you will learn even more than if you communicate with adults.Teo is the person who expresses this idea. He is a very good example of a loving parent and a believer in children’s capabilities and uniqueness. He is a father of three, one girl and two boys. In the film, we take a look into his home and we get to meet his wonderful children, who are the supportive characters. The whole family radiates vibrant energy and happiness, yet not a Hollywood type of ecstasy, but a serene contentment. [abstract] This project is copyrighted.
