Description:
The movie is about the 43-year-old Ilko Galabov, who works as a farmer and believes that agriculture is often overlooked and is often considered as dying. However, he wants to show that there are still people like him and that agriculture in Bulgaria has a future. He is one of the few, especially at this age, who dedicate their time to agriculture. He speaks openly about the struggles farmers have in a society and economy that doesn’t support them.My main character, Ilko, represents a minority that we don’t talk about enough in Bulgaria. People that in my opinion maintain the Bulgarian spirit in an unique way. There is nothing deeper than connecting to your motherland in such a way- by taking care of its fruitful soils.
