Title:
The family house of Shoylekov
Abstract:
The life's work of architect Tornyov was marked by his intention to create national architecture. He did this in a different manner with each different type of building he designed, using elements from the architectural heritage and interpreting them in the spirit of Art Nouveau. The residential houses were made with Bulgarian Revival heritage in mind, which was obvious by the inclusion of wooden elements in the facade.
