"Modern Theater" Cinema

This is the building of the first modern cinema theater in the city of Sofia, featuring a two-level hall with 350 seats. It was built in 1908, replacing an older two-storey house. The current facade was shaped in 1913 when the theater was expanded in order to enlarge its capacity by adding two smaller halls. The building kept its function over the years, but since 2014 it has been abandoned and in a state of disrepair and ruin.
