Chess is an amazing game combining concentration, memory, imagination and thinking. It is a sport that can be taught online at a time convenient for the learner and the trainer, making online chess training convenient and flexible. The purpose of this paper is to design and develop a website for online chess training, including online tests, providing the ability to save and pay online for class and chess games with comments. Bulgarian and foreign websites are presented and analyzed according to their main characteristics. The choice of Wordpress plugins to implement the project is justified. The site www.chess-school.online realizes the set goal by providing additional learning materials for self-study, as well as short publications that increase the motivation for learning chess. Some of the functionalities, such as online class booking, interactive learning materials, online tests and online payment, can also be applied to other online trainings in programming, information technology, foreign languages, entertaining mathematics and others.
