Abstract:
The report examines the capabilities of the learning management system Moodle (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment), on which is based Trakia Electronic University (TrEU) - an e-learning system used in Trakia University - Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. System tools and integrated plugins are presented, which are related to the reporting of activities and the control and assessment of the learners' knowledge. The report’s main objective is to study the possibilities for improving the existing functionalities in this field in the LMS (Moodle), presenting studies related to the degree of use of the system's tools and the need for their improvement.
