Abstract:
A formula has been theoretically derived, which gives the relationship be¬tween the rated dimensions of the contact couple (sealing washer-inner bearing ring) and the frictional moment between these elements. On the basis of this formula a PC program has been also written. By using the relationship obtained, the effect of the deviation of the rated dimension within tolerance zone upon the frictional moment has been investigated. Concrete studies have been performed for the 6204-2RS bearing.
