Abstract:
The algorithm’s realization for numerical integration using a microcontroller of the family PIC12XX is related to some technical difficulties like the small computing resource of the microcontroller and the lake of an arithmetical multiplying unit. These problems require the adaptation of the known classical algorithms in order to achieve balance between accuracy of the result on the one hand and the computation complexity on the other. In the present article we have done a review of the classical methods for numerical integration, we have analyzed the possibilities for their application, when working with a microcontroller. We have presented a method for increasing the accuracy by using variable step.
