Abstract:
The text proposes new viewpoints of lecturers and researchers on teaching and the educational process which have been generated as a follow-up to the pedagogical experience of instruction in a digital environment. Integrating material from articles included in the previous edition of the present collection, the author offers a brief overview, along with quotations from texts exploring the problem of distance learning in a digital environment. The observations, hypotheses, theses and conclusions demonstrate in a very clear way the re-focused interest of the researchers in the field of linguistics and pedagogy upon the topical issues concerning the instruction in a digital environment, highlighting the relation this focus bears to the ideas of the new pedagogy, formulated theoretically several years prior to the current situation which requires the consistent use of technical and information resources.
