Abstract:
Algorithms for matrix computations are among the most widely used computational tools in science and engineering. Due to the recent trends in the design of computer architectures, scientific and engineering research is becoming increasingly dependent upon development and implementation of efficient parallel algorithms on modern high performance computers. Performance evaluation of matrix algorithms for both shared and distributed memory supercomputers is concerned. Modification of distributed memory matrix algorithm for multi-computer with any muting scheme and analysis if its efficiency is proposed.
