Abstract:
The communication channel of a radiometric system for receiving, transmitting and processing of temperature distribution data of earth and water surfaces has been analysed of the needs of remote ecological monitoring in the infrared spectral range. Expressions have been derived for the signal - to - noise ratio and measurement resolution. It has been shown that some noise fluctuations can be partially compensated due to their mutual negative correlation. The effect from the application of optimum spatial frequency filtering in the investigated system has been estimated. Numerical calculations end physical interpreting of the .results has been made.
