Abstract:
An algorithm and software for air-conditioning systems annual energy consumption is carried out on the basis of hourly simulations. For external loads estimation the Test Reference Year for Sofia is used. The same room with constant internal loads was examined. Simulation models for systems with constant (CAV and variable (VAV) air volume rate with control only of the temperature in the room were developed. The models give the possibility the ratio of outside to return air, the different heat recovery equipment and the potential of indirect and direct evaporative cooling influence to be studied by the concrete examples of air-conditioning, With the software the ways of energy savings in the air-conditioning systems can be found.
