Abstract:
Theoretical and graphical results have been obtained for determining the ground pressure distribution under the tracks of bulldozers. The real operating condition and existing asymmetry of bulldozers have been taken into account. The influence of moving of the resultant force applied-point onto the readability and track elements wear have been analysed. Data from the examination of bulldozers Caterpillar D6H and D7H and Komatsu D355A-3, operating in real conditions have been represented. The obtained results will give the engineers an opportunity to design correctly the machine and the operator to use optimally its possibilities
