Vasil Aprilov School - general view from Shipka Street. This schoolhouse's original design has been altered, just like the other 6 schoolhouses that were built together. The mansard roof of the third floor is a main feature, but was not a part of the original appearance. The elevated roof has eliminated the vertical grading of the volumes and the roof line dynamics - so typical for romantic Secession buildings.
