Polytechnic School

This school house was designed almost at the same time with the Maria Louisa Business School, shortly after Third High School of Sofia and before the series of municipal schools. All 11 buildings were created by the same architects, but with individual designs in search of distinctiveness. With its symmetric composition, mansard roof and choice of decorative elements, this building is arguably closest to the historic styles, compared to the other school designs. Third High School of Sofia and Graf Ignatiev School have mansard roofs as well, but their ornamentation is much more typical for the Secession.
