Sofia Synodal Palace - main facade. The main facade is a strictly symmetrical composition with a central avant-corps that is developed into a triple arched portico with three small domes. The central entrance axis is emphasised by a triple window and culminates to a front tympanum with images of the three Mythropolits - Ilarion Makariopolski, Avksentiy Veleshki and Paisii Plovdivski. The polychrome facade features alternating brick belts and smooth plaster.
