Dobrev reports that he sends two of his own books – Our Land in Literature (1941) and Poets of the Village (1947) – and asks Salvini to provide him with new italian books from progressive writers. In separate letter Dobrev sends an issue of the Land and Labour magazine with a review of Bulgarian literature.
